    Puglia’s “Basso Salento” is paradise for some of the best waters and sandy beaches Italy has to offer… choose to sip your sunset aperitivo on the Ionian beaches of Ugento or take a boat for a day and dive in the grottos lining the rocky Adriatic coast, just on the other side of the tip of Leuca. Boats can also be hired for a day trip to Greece’s closest islands.
